We go back to 1996 for these two. The coaster Waddenzee caught through the lens on March 29th, with an unusual deck cargo of lifeboats.
 
The lifeboats were on their way to Italy, to be installed on the cruise ship Carnival Destiny, which was nearing completion at the time. Now named Carnival Sunshine, the vessel mostly cruises the Caribbean these days, but when completed, was the first cruise vessel to exceed 100,000 gross tonnes.
 
I think you will agree, things have moved on since then!

We are delighted to announce that our new website is live and open for business!

After 14 years sterling service since the launch of the old site, which was starting to look its age, the new one brings us back up to date, with a new mobile friendly design and improved security and functionality.

As you can imagine, behind the scenes, migrating the image data was quite an undertaking, with over 500K records and images to transfer!
